As part of their preparation for the 2024/25 season, Shooting Stars Sports Club 3SC of Ibadan will participate in the prestigious Coal City Cup 2024 Tournament in Enugu. This pre season event, featuring eight teams, is set to commence on Thursday, August 1.
The tournament will feature notable clubs such as Rangers International, Enyimba FC, and Remo Stars. Additionally, four international teams FC Kallon from Sierra Leone, Cotton FC from Benin Republic, Gor Mahia from Kenya, and Corinthians from Brazil will compete.
The Oluyole Warriors will face FC Kallon in the opening match at 5 PM at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, also known as The Cathedral’. Tosin Omojola, Media Officer of 3SC, expressed confidence in the team’s preparedness, citing their recent participation in the ValueJet Cup at the Remo Stars’ Stadium in Ikenne, which has sharpened their skills and boosted team spirit.
