Boniface Set for Final Medicals Ahead of AC Milan Move

Victor Boniface is poised to complete the final medical examinations before sealing his move to AC Milan. The Nigerian striker, having arrived in Milan yesterday, already underwent initial assessments at La Madonnina clinic, followed by fitness tests at Centro Ambrosiano and an orthopaedic review at Galeazzi hospital.

The final phase of his medical is scheduled for today, which will determine whether he proceeds to sign on loan, with a buy option to make the deal permanent . The agreement includes a €5 million loan fee and an option to buy set at approximately €24 million.

Milan remain cautious due to Boniface’s injury history having suffered two cruciate ligament ruptures in his time at Bodø/Glimt and subsequent muscle issues.

Should he pass the final exams, the move is expected to be confirmed swiftly, enabling him to join the squad for the Serie A opener against Cremonese .

Editorial

We welcome the prospect of Victor Boniface’s transfer to AC Milan it represents a calculated investment in goal-scoring promise tempered by due diligence. His undeniable talent, proven by a remarkable 32 goals in 61 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen, offers Milan a potent attacking option.

However, Milan’s insistence on comprehensive medical assessments is both prudent and professional. With a history impacted by serious injuries, ensuring Boniface’s physical readiness before committing to a deal reflects a responsible club culture we strongly support.

We believe that this methodical approach not only protects the club’s interests, but also improves the chance of a successful long-term outcome for both Boniface and Milan. If the final clinical hurdles are cleared, we trust this move could flourish into one of Milan’s shrewdest signings of the season.
